away surrounded by his beloved family in San Diego,
California. Lauro was born on December 17th, 1947, in
General Trias, Cavite, the son of Pio Prijoles and Angela
Cornejo. Lauro joined the US Navy in 1967 and served for 20
years before retiring. Lauro married Cristina Gutierrez on
January 2nd, 1972. They were married for 52 glorious years.
Lauro was a successful businessman, feeding the
community at Cristy’s Bakery for 26 years.
Lauro is survived by his wife, Cristina; his children, Lawrence
& Rachel, Lillian & Roland, and Lyle & Marienne; and his
grandchildren, Jacob, Kristiana Rose & Christophe, Cruz, and
Miles.
Visitation will be held at the Lotus Chapel in El Camino
Memorial Park on Friday, October 4th, 2024 from 4:00 PM
to 9:00 PM. Memorial service will be held at the Lotus
Chapel in El Camino Memorial Park on Saturday, October
5th, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with military honors.
