Joanne Lillian LaFrance, born November 27, 1946, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on December 27, 2018 at the age of 72. Joanne had a long and distinguished career in commercial insurance working for several insurance companies in various management positions covering all aspects of insurance operations. She retired in December 2012 as Assistant Vice President of Operations - Legal & Regulatory Compliance. She was an active volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul Society in Texas, then Catholic Charities and finally with PATH (People Assisting The Homeless), both in San Diego.
