With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jay Braden Beach, a beloved husband, father, brother, and a dedicated professional, who departed from this world on January 27, 2024 in San Diego, California. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and a profound commitment to both family and career.
Born in Arlington, Virginia in 1956, Jay Beach spent his life embracing the values of hard work, integrity, and kindness. His untimely departure at the age of 67 has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him.
A devoted husband, Jay is survived by his loving wife, Susan Beach, who stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing in the joys and challenges of life. Together, they built a beautiful family, and a foundation of love and understanding that she will cherish forever.
As a dedicated father, Jay leaves behind two twin daughters, Alexia and Briana. He was a pillar of strength and support, guiding them through life's journey with unwavering love, encouragement, and wisdom. His legacy lives on in his daughters. They will carry his memory in their hearts each and every day.
Jay is also survived by his sister, Janne Beach, who shared a special bond with him throughout their lives. Their childhood memories together will forever hold a place in her heart.
Jay's passion for golf was an integral part of his life. He found solace and joy on the greens, where he formed lasting friendships and created cherished memories. His love for the sport was contagious, and he shared this enthusiasm with his wife, daughters, and many friends from Torrey Pines Men's Golf Club.
Professionally, Jay served as an Operations Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). His dedication and direction contributed significantly to the smooth functioning of air traffic operations. Colleagues highly respected Jay and remember him as a reliable and compassionate individual, always willing to lend a helping hand and inspire with his leadership.
A memorial service to celebrate Jay's life will be held on February 9, 2024 at El Camino Memorial Park in Chapel 2 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. The service will begin at 4:30 pm.
