Helen Phyllis Willhelm (nee Lund) died peacefully on February 14, 2021. She was born August 15, 1934 in Great Falls, Montana to Peter Wiik Lund and Hazel Canary Lund. Helen graduated from Walla Walla College and received her Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She taught at Lodi Academy, Rio Lindo Adventist Academy, and Columbia Union College. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Howard C. Lund and Donald E. Lund. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Glenn Willhelm, daughters Carol Willhelm and Lisa Willhelm Cooney, son-in-law Patrick, and grandchildren Sean and Clare. We are grateful to the staff and caregivers of Brookdale Carmel Valley and Elizabeth Hospice for their excellent and gracious care. Helen deeply loved the Lord, her family, and her many students and friends. We are blessed by the gift of her love, laughter, and light in our lives.
