Halim Zhuka passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on March 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in San Diego, California.
Born on July 8th,1957, in Albania, Halim built a distinguished career in the government, serving for over 20 years, including his role as Chief of Finance for the Ministry of Defense of Albania. He was deeply respected for his intelligence, discipline, and unwavering commitment to his work.
Halim was more than his career—he was a man who loved to learn, to laugh, and to live fully. Known for his sharp mind and magnetic presence, he had the rare gift of being both deeply thoughtful and the life of the party. His humor, warmth, and ability to connect with others made him unforgettable.
He is survived by his devoted wife Narushije Zhuka, his daughter Eriselda Roth, his son Ardit Zhuka, and his granddaughter Harper Roth. His family was his pride and joy, and he poured his love and wisdom into every moment he shared with them.
A memorial service will be held at El Camino Memorial – Sorrento Valley, March 28th at 2pm to celebrate and honor Halim’s life and legacy.
His spirit, laughter, and unwavering strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
