Glenn Michael White

Glenn was born on October 21, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to the union of Thomas and Ruth White.

After graduation from Cooley HS, Glenn enlisted into the US Navy where he served honorably for more than 20 years before retiring. Glenn married Diane to which they were blessed with one daughter, Dionne. Always positive by nature, Glenn readily gave empathy, and words of uplifting and encouragement to others when necessary.

Despite serious health issues in recent years, his will to live and persevere was evidenced by him clinging to life for a full week after suffering the last affliction.

Glenn leaves to cherish his precious memory: daughter Dionne (Patrick Scudder), grandchildren Liam & Kaya; sisters Jacqueline White (Alvin) and Jurlean; brothers Levy and Gary (Patricia); nieces Darshonnia, Elon, Chantelle, and Alia; nephews Ronald, Joseph, Steve, Jason, Alvin, and Joshua; four aunts, Marguerite Mays, Jurlean Johnson, Clarice Williams , and Bonnie Howze; one uncle, Willie Mays; and cousins too numerous to name.

In memory of our beloved brother, Glenn. As children we laughed, played, imagined and shared. As young adults we struck out on our own and made lives for ourselves. Now, as we are reminded that death is a door that we all must pass through; I am so grateful that God gave us each other as siblings. You took chances, forged your own path and danced to your own tune. We will miss you but rejoice in the day where we will see each other again, forever. We love you.
