On April 25, 2013 Libby entered into the joy of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was 92 years old, born September 11, 1920 in Oklahoma, the oldest child of Charles and Lucille Harris.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, Bouton Brown, and their eldest son Randal Allen Brown. Libby was also preceded in death by her sister Kate Puckett and her second husband, Fred Austin, having loved and embraced his family.
Libby moved to San Diego in Sept. 2000 to be near her son and family. She is survived by her son D. Keith Brown and wife Anita, her grandson Michael K. Brown and his family, Maribeth Brown and great granddaughters, Tamsen and Ruari Brown, grandsons by marriage; Jon Kollen and Michael Kollen and his family, Kim Kollen and great grandson, Luke Kollen. Amazingly, she is survived by three of her siblings; Charles Harris, and William Harris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Mary Jo Bell, of Amarillo, Texas.
Elizabeth was a godly woman who loved the Lord and spent hours every day in prayer and in God’s word. Her ability to love, made her loved and cherished by all, who were blessed by knowing her. She will be greatly missed until we can be reunited with her, which is the promise we celebrate.
A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at Canyon Villas Retirement Community, 4282 Balboa Ave., San Diego, CA, at 2 P.M. on May 18, 2013. She will be interred at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, on May 25, 2013.
