Bernice passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home, in the presence of her family on January 6, 2023. She had a strong presence and was the matriarch of the family. She was loved and respected by all she touched. At 96 years of age, she was still enjoying friends and family and was sharp as a tack. She was born in Tucson, Arizona. She was the third oldest in a family of 5 girls and two boys. She was the daughter of Arthur Sterns and Eunice Sterns. Bernice is survived by her sister Jackie Jansen and three sons, Steven, David, and Randall. Grandchildren, Jeff, Micheal, Lauren, Nicholas, Chelsea, Kasey, and Alex, and 9 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard aka (Cookie) Reid, her son Richard (Rick), Siblings Eunice (Peggy), Mary, (Mimi), William (Billy), Betty Jean (BJ), and Arthur. Bernice, may you join your awaiting loving family in heaven and look upon us as we remember your kind heart and loving hugs and kisses.
