San Diego-Tony passed away peacefully January 13, 2017 with his family by his side. Born December 4, 1926 in Lowell,MA to Joaquina Carlos and Manuel Pereira, he was the youngest of 6. A Lowell High grad, WWII vet(USS Noble) and commercial tuna fisherman, he married Mary Lira in 1954 and had 4 children. Predeceased by his wife Mary, of 44 years, children Sandra & Michael, his parents, and siblings. Survived by his daughter Mary, son Tony(Lisa), and grandchildren Jocelyn and Anthony III. Viewing Monday January 23, 2017, at 5-8 pm at Beardsley Mitchell Funeral Home (1818 Sunset Cliffs Blvd).
