Jovita Seanez Arvizu, 99, of San Bernardino, passed peacefully on September 7th, 2016. She was born in El Paso, Texas on March 17th, 1917. She worked for many years as a cook before she retired. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with many friends. She’s preceded in death by her husband Manuel Arvizu, son Richard Arvizu, daughter Linda Galarza, grandson John Richard Ramos, nephew Tommy Aquila, and niece Cuca Saldivar. She’s survived by her daughter Pauline Ramos, her 5 nieces, 12 grandchildren, 29 great – grandchildren, and 9 great – great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Funeral services for Jovita will be as followed: Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Mt. view Mortuary Visitation 5:00pm – 9:00pm, and Rosary 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Mass will be held on Friday. September 16,2016 at St. Adelaide’s Church at 10:00am, followed by the burial at Mt. View Cemetery at 11:30am.
