Survived by his Sister Anna A. Dieppa-Betancourt, his son: Kenneth E. Dieppa; daughters: Cynthia Dieppa-Ruby, Sharon Dieppa , Caron Dieppa-Cook & Darlene Dieppa-Ward; grandsons: Kenneth E. Dieppa II, Jordan A Dieppa; Jacob Gutierrez, Joseph Ward; granddaughters: Lorin A. Dieppa-Raymond & Angelina Ateek; great-granddaughter: Samara C. Dieppa and well as a several nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Hector never met someone who didn't become a friend. With a big smile and a warm personality he charmed everyone he ever met. Born on December 01,1943 in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico to Jose “Don Pepe” Dieppa and Cecilia Pená-Dieppa, Hector lived in Puerto Rico until June 1949 before moving to Manhattan New York and soon thereafter to the Bronx, NY.
After graduating from Samuel Gompers High School in the Bronx (1962), Hector joined the United States Navy as an Aviation Mechanic “Airdale” and served proudly for four years. Upon completing his service in the US Navy as a Vietnam Era Veteran, he used his Navy skills as an aviation mechanic to work as a technician for Bendix Corporation in Teterboro, NJ. Following a career advance opportunity he began to work for TWA at John F. Kennedy International Airport as an electro-mechanic technician. Hector then left TWA to work for New York City off track betting maintenance department, returning briefly to TWA before moving to Tampa to work at Tampa International Airport. Hector then worked for Saudi Arabian Airlines in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia before moving to California to work for Lockheed Martin and finally completing his career as an aviation mechanic for FedEx at Los Angeles International Airport.

Hector will be resting next to his deceased wife Nancy Zambra-Dieppa at his place of residence.
