I have known Cathy for about 48yrs. We met in high stool at a ditching party at Lytle Creek. We had to cross a stream of water to get to the beer. I thought if I fall this girl with long hair is going down with me. As Luck must have been on our side we both made it across and back without falling or spilling a sip of our beer. Who  knew at that point forward I found what would become a best friend. With her contagious smile and laughter we shared so many good times from cruising the park and, "E" street, or concerts at the swing auditorium, we were even bridesmaids in each other's weddings. As I look through the boxes of pictures I remember the good times we had.  I came across some where a group of us girls were at IP's.  We had little umbrella in our hair as we were sipping on scorpions before we would go to the clubs. Cathy is more than a friend, she is my comadre as both her & Rudy baptized my daughter (Lauren.) The last time I saw her we were both getting lab work done at the group. No words needed to be said. We just hugged and cried. I know your peace my friend, you will be missed, my sincere condolences to Rudy, Marisa Megan and all the Hernandez family.

This will always be my favorite picture of Marisa and Mrs. Gomez. There was a time when I saw Mrs. Gomez every day for 7 years. I still remember the first time I met Mrs. Gomez. Thank you for everything. Thank you for loving me. I will forever miss my birthday calls, my huge hugs and my christmas cards where you signed "your 2nd mom". Mrs. Gomez was my 2nd mom and I will forever miss and love her.

Love to Rudy, Marisa, Megan and family.  Your beautiful wife, mother, daughter and sister was an amazing woman.  She will always be in my heart and I have so many excellent memories.  Thank you for sharing her with us.  My friend Cathy and I have been causing havoc together for close to 40 years.  We shared our highest moments with joy and laughter and cried together when we shared our medical challenges.  Here are my two favorite memories.  We were driving west on 30th street in her blue Datsun and she decided to play chicken with an oncoming car.  I was swearing at her to get back in her lane and she was laughing the whole time.  This girl finally moved over when the oncoming car was within 15 feet.  I can easily say this was the most traumatic thing that ever happened to me and Cathy laughed every time we chatted about it.  My favorite memory which still brings a chuckle to me.  Four of us went to lunch at the Imperial Palace.  About 20 minutes after clocking back in to work, Cathy was the first to bounce with two of us quickly following. We all claimed food poisoning yet our lunch consisted of 4 very long straws and two extra large white clam shells filled to the brim with pink liquid.  Good Times!   Cathy, it time to pull a Miller Lite out of the bucket and raise it high. Thank you for bringing so much joy and laughter to my life.  CHEERS!   Love MeeChelle and Paulie

Walking to and from the little stores, my brother Gil and I would see her on the porch sometimes when we walked by the house on 7th street where she would visit family. I didn't know at that time who she was until i saw my brother Rudy there. She was always smiling that big beautiful smile. Her wonderful laugh that I will always and forever hear.I'm lucky to have known her and call her my Sister in law, our Aunty Cathy,  
 BBQ'S at my mom and dads on Sundays, Drive-in movies with Rudy and Cathy, family gatherings with the Hernandez family and many many more reminders of a great person that was always joyful, accepting and supportive of all us. When I think of my brother and the girls, I will always think of Cathy along side of them, laughing and listening to all the BS stories I would tell just to hear her laugh and smile. Well all be together again down the road and have those gatherings and BBQ's again. Love you Cathy, From all of us at the Gomez house on F street forever.

I met Cathy in High School , San Gorgonio High School. 
She was a beautiful lady inside and out with the most beautiful smile.  We shared many laughs along our high school days and after. Never a dull moment having drinks , listening to music.  Cathy you sure are going to be missed. R.I.P. My friend ✝️🙏🏻❤️

My deepest condolences to Rudy , the girls and the entire family. Cathy was truly one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. From the first time we met at SBMG she became very close to my heart. We worked together for many years and became great friends. Her smile and her laughter were contagious and I will always cherish those memories. Take comfort in knowing Cathy is resting peacefully in the arms of our Heavenly Father.  Sleep well with the Angels my friend until we meet again

I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to both families. Kathy and I worked at San Bernardino Medical Group back in the day. We had great times working together, and especially going out for lunch. We would laugh at each other’s ears. I would make fun of her big ears, and she would do the same. (I still have big ears)  So much laughter came out of that.  Kathy and I would bump into each other at Stater Bros in East Highland Ranch where we both resided and would chat in the parking lot. Great memories of this beautiful woman. 
Kathy, you will be missed, but never forgotten.

My condolences to her family,  my prayers are with her family.  I worked with Cathy at San Bernadino medical group , she was always smiling! Always kind and patient with the patient's that came in. Always helpful! Just such a beautiful person Cathy was. She will be missed.

Rudy: I am so sorry and hope and pray that your whole family can know she is now with her God. We will be there on the 26th. Again, our condolences.

My beloved Cuzn I miss you horribly.  We shared so many beautiful memories from the day you were born.  I changed your diapers, I listened to your stories as you grew up and gave you advise as your oldest Cuzn. I will forever cherish those memories. One day when we meet up in heaven I promise to cook you chocolate pudding and not burn it. I love you dearly ….
