Juan "Johnny" Antonio Delgado

Johnny loved football and worked as part of the chain crew for the Harlingen school district's football games for over 20 years. He was a Green Bay Packers fan.

He also enjoyed fishing and watching old movies. Johnny loved cracking jokes and making his family and friends laugh. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Johnny is survived by his daughter, Natalie Delgado (Manuel Gonzales IV); his sons, Joseph Garcia and Jason Delgado; his sister, Diana De Leon and his brother, Roy Beaver; his granddaughters, Destiny Aguilar and Gianna Davila; and his grandsons, Christian Desoto, Benicio Gonzales and Trevor Desoto.

Johnny was preceded in death by his daughter, Erika Desoto; his mother, Catherina Farias and his father, Jose Delgado; his sisters, Rosalinda Longoria and Sylvia Farias; and his brothers, Jaime Delgado and Rudy Delgado.

A Visitation for Johnny will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas 78586. Military honors will be held at 2:00 PM and followed by a Prayer Service at 3:00 PM.
