Willie Pearl Perkins, age 88, went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 28, 1924 in Coleman, TX. She was a member of Grace Baptist Temple involved in numerous ministries including giving to foreign missions. She will be dearly missed by all.
Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Perkins; parents, Marshall & Minnie Smith; sister, Janie Duncan.
She is survived by her 4 nephews, James Duncan & wife Brenda of San Angelo, TX, Chuck Duncan & wife Jo Ann of Eutawville, SC, Jessie Duncan and Terry Duncan & wife Glenda of Tye, TX; 1 niece, Ann Parsons of Merkel, TX; numerous great & great-great nieces & nephews; and loving friends & church members.
Visitation will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Grace Baptist Temple, 4398 Bluemel, San Antonio, TX 78240 followed by a 11 a.m. Funeral Service.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the Grace Baptist Temple (Building Fund).
