She is preceded in death by her father, Fabian Tijerina.
She is survived by her mother, Ofelia F. Tijerina; sons, Rene T. Esquivel and Christopher Paul Esquivel; grandchildren, Samantha Esquivel Zuniga, Nadia, Isaak, Christian, Mia and Elias Esquivel; great grandchildren, Leah, Layla, Lilianna and Mila Zuniga; siblings, Johnny F. Tijerina, Beatrice T. Garcia, Delia T. Revilla, Angelita T. Elizondo and Anita F. Tijerina; also numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 8:15 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Joseph’s (So. San) Catholic Church. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
