Virginia Cecilia Ortiz

Virginia Ortiz, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, entered rest on March 19, 2011 at the age of 90. A native of San Antonio, she was born to Fernando and Isaura Salazar on October 6, 1920. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Bert R. Lozano; husband, Eloy Ortiz. She is survived by their daughters, Pearl O. Lozano and husband Humberto; Virginia E. Gill and husband Jesse; grandchildren: Pearl V. Gutierrez and husband Jay, Laura A. Lozano, Elizabeth R. Daniels and husband Brian, Letty and late husband Bert R. Lozano, Vanessa V. Ullmann and husband Eric, Jesse Gill II, Rosanne Oliver and husband Steve; 14 great-grandchildren; many friends and wonderful neighbors. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for an Evening Service at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Woodlawn Christian Church, 1744 W.
