Trinidad Herrera

Trinidad Herrera at age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in her home on February 27th, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 6th, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas and is one of seven siblings. After graduating high school she went to college to get her associates in child development. Thereafter she began her career as a teacher's aid, until retirement.

Trinidad aka Trini would often joke that she was secretly wonder woman with her family so much so that some would call her wonder woman as a nickname. She enjoyed helping children and being surrounded by their laughter. Trini was a great woman, rich with knowledge, humor, and above all, love for her family that she created. She was quick witted and kind. She was also swift with a chancla if you misbehaved.

She is survived by her daughter Rosalinda, her three granddaughters Jennifer, Nicole, and Valerie. Her nine great grandchildren Alexis, Gabriel, Jeremy, Autumn, Samantha, Lilliana, Mario, Layla, and Gael. Her great great grandchild Josiah, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Trini was a wonder woman, filled with so much light and love. Her presence will truly be missed.
