Tomas Ozuna Rivera

Tomas Ozuna Rivera, born on September 8, 1949 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with The Lord on January 4, 2024 at the age of 74. Mr. Rivera was a proud Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. After the War, Tomas began his adventure of learning carpentry and worked with may companies until he began his own company working with commercial businesses. Tomas loved exploring the Flea Markets along with building things around his home and capturing the memories with his photography. Mr. Rivera was known in his family for being the favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio Rivera and Nazaria Ozuna Rivera; brothers, Robert Rivera and Eugene Rivera.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rachel Rivera; children, Tomas Rivera II (Sarah), Paul Rivera (Samantha), Chris Rivera (Cecilia), Anthony Rivera and Josephine Delgado (Rene); grandchildren, Rachel, Josh, Alyssa, Arianna, Damien, Isaiah, Savannah, Corey, Mark, Ezekiel, Ryan, Michael, Layla, Sarina, Riley and Willow; 1great grandchild; siblings, Benito Rivera and Juan Rivera.

The Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, January 23, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:15 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 8510 S. Zarzamora St. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
