Theodore Cole Van Delden

Theodore Cole Van Delden, age 85 went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. He was born on December 14, 1930 to Frank J. & Melba Keller Van Delden in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Frank and Gerald. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Cathleen Hoffmann Van Delden, sister Sonja Mitzen & brother Barron Van Delden , daughter Heidi Grabow and husband Brian, sons Theodore Van Delden II, Hans Van Delden and wife Swann, Eric Van Delden and wife Julianna, Kurt Van Delden and wife April, and Peter Van Delden and wife Lisa. Grandchildren- Audrey, Connor, Madison, Taylor, Laura, Hunter, Ethan, Kristin, Jacob, Joseph, Kurt, Theodore III & Tabitha and many nieces and nephews.

Theodore graduated from Peacock Military Academy, University of Texas at Austin (Bachelor in Civil Engineering) and St. Mary's University (Master of Civil Engineering). Upon his Fathers death at the age of 25 he took over the family business, Van Delden Company, for 60 years. He was an active member of St. George Maronite Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
