Teresa Baladez Lopez, born on February 23, 1951 to Frank and Margarita Baladez in San Antonio, Texas. She was married to Joe G. Lopez for 49 loving years. She was called to be with The Lord on January 2, 2022 at the age of 70 years.
She worked in housekeeping for University hospital for many years before leaving to help Joe start their own company. She had a passion for camping at Garner State park, fishing, playing loteria and BBQing with family.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Joe, parents; Frank and Margarita, sisters; Yolanda, Martina, brother; John, and also great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Sandra Cerda (Robert), Sylvia Segovia (Edward), Jerry Lopez (Monica); 8 grandchildren Dominique Garcia, Kathie Cerda, Frankie Cerda, Christean (John) Cerda, Princess Christina Marie, my Joseph Lopez, Valencia Lozano (Caleb), and Gianna Segovia; 2 great-grandchildren Erin Michelle and Luca Jace Cerda; along with numerous sisters, brothers, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Teresa will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will be held at 6:30 PM. The mass of resurrection will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 4222 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227.
