Sylvia Anne Garcia

She was preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad Perez and Aurora De La Garza Perez; sister, Christina P. Flores; brothers, Ernesto Perez and Jorge Perez.

Sylvia is survived by her loving husband Alex Raymond Garcia, Sr.; children and their spouses Michael Aguirre (Lupe), Christopher Aguirre, Alex R. Garcia, Jr.(Suzzanne), Amanda J. Garcia-Aguinaga (Joseph), Santiago P. Flores III (Ariel); sisters, Azalia P. Delgado, Dahlia P. Espinosa, Rosa Maria Perez and Celia P. Vasquez; grandchildren, Analiza Aguirre, Christopher Micah Aguirre, Genaro Aguirre, Devven Ray Garcia, Miaa Jane Garcia and Christina Belle Flores; numerous nieces and nephews.

Sylvia served 20 plus years to the City of San Antonio in Building and Inspections. She was an Administrative volunteer at the Oblate. Sylvia was known for her love of sewing, scrapbooking and Bingo, but most of all for the Love she had for her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will begin 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2022 at Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Ave. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment to follow in San Fernando II Cemetery.
