Stella C. Trevino, age 78, went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2014. She was born on September 16, 1935 in Floresville, TX to Gustavo & Isabel Chavez. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. She was very active in her community & enjoyed volunteering for many organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John V. Trevino; and daughter, Rose Ann Trevino.
She is survived by her 6 children & their spouses, John R. Trevino, Tony G. Trevino, Stella L. Ramirez, Terry L. Trevino, Tommy Trevino and Elliott Trevino; brother, Gus Chavez, Jr.; sister, Minnie Chavez; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & friends.
Visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 12 noon, Friday, January 10, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.
