Lee Ingram, a gentle soul, beloved husband, father and “Bape” went home to be with the Lord at the age of 79 on January 23, 2011. He retired from the U. S. Air Force in the grade of Chief Master Sergeant after 27 years of service. His military career included assignments in California, Illinois, San Antonio, Germany and Thailand. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church serving as a lecturer, Eucharist minister and usher. He was an active member of the Men’s Club and served as chairman of the Wild Game Dinner for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents Guy and Elna Hahn Ingram, and four brothers. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathryn “Kay” Ingram; daughters, Kimberly Young, and husband Randy, Mary Lee Weix, and husband Jeff, and Kristi Kepley, and husband Jeff; sons, Scott Ingram, and wife Barbara and Brett Ingram, and wife Francie; grandchildren, Ryan Young, Kyle Young and wife Kelly, Britni Young, Elizabeth Morton, and husband Andrew, John Weix and wife Laura, David Weix, Joshua Kepley, Jacob Kepley and wife Sarah, Kristopher Kepley, Sarah Guerrero, and husband Ludim, Joseph Ingram, Andrew Ingram, Anna Ingram, Mary Elizabeth Ingram, Blaine Ingram, Jeremy Ingram, Austin Ingram, Emily Ingram and Mary Kate Ingram. He is also survived by his sister, Fern Burkhardt, who resides in Dwight, Illinois. The visitation will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 5:30. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. The 12 grandsons will serve as pallbearers and the St. Luke Men’s Club will serve as honorary pallbearers.
