Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ruby Jean Little, of San Antonio, went to be with her Lord on July 29, 2011 at the age of 94. She was born September 8, 1916 in Milton, Florida to Joseph and Ethel McEvoy. Ruby was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church and was part of the church’s Sunshine Singers group. She is dearly loved by her family and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Turner Wilson Little. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jean Mayo; grandchildren, Sheryl L. Mayo Berry and husband Daniel, Craig A. Mayo and Scott L. Mayo and great-grandchildren, Braden Wilson Berry and Sydney Lauren Berry.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 3:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park.
