Ruben Espinoza Tambunga was called home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2014 at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his parents Evaristo and Carlota Tambunga, siblings Raul, Evaristo, Rosaelia, and Maria. Ruben is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beatriz Galvan Tambunga, children Humberto Tambunga (Elizabeth), Ruben Tambunga (Lisa), Joe Tambunga (Melanie Siroky), Johnny Tambunga (Priscilla Ozuna), and Beatrice Tambunga (Miguel Vela), grandchildren Emmanuel Tambunga, Elizabeth Marie Tambunga, Faith Tambunga, Melissa Martinez, Ruben Tambunga III, Nykolas Tambunga, Miguel Vela Jr., Sarah Vela, great-grandchildren Aaron Tejeda, Matthew Tejeda, and Tyler Tambunga. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, Texas with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 09:30 am for 10:00 am for a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Interment will follow at First Memorial Burial Park Cemetery.
