She was born in Germany on August 5, 1935. She was a joyful & loving mother, grandmother, great
grandmother and friend to everyone she met and she will be dearly missed. Rosie came to America to start her new life in 1957. She married James R. Meek, her husband of 50 years, on April 17, 1963, and instantly became a mother to 4 children, Linda Ilene, Thomas, Debbie and Carol. In 1965, Jim and Rosie adopted Brigitte. Rosie absolutely loved being a wife, mother of 5, a grandmother and great-grandmother. Everyone who knew Rosie, knew she enjoyed laughing! She Always chose Joy, no matter her circumstance. She Loved telling jokes and enjoyed making other people laugh to brighten their day. She genuinely Loved everyone the Lord brought into her life! Rosie also really enjoyed creating and making many beautiful hand made crafted items and gifts. She also loved bowling in many different leagues and playing bunco with dear friends over numerous years.
There was never a person Rosie met that she didn't try to make laugh nor someone she didn't love and
embrace as a new friend. As a matter of fact, if youwere Rosie's friend, she considered you now adopted
and embraced as a part of her family! Jim and Rosie were long time Church of Christ
members and their last Church Home was Sunset Ridge Church of Christ. Their final Home together is
now in heaven with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Praise His Holy Name!
