Mrs Valdez and Family.  I want to extend my condolences to you on Ros's death.  I too have fond memories  of him and his family, when they helped our family pick cotton around Texas.  On behalf of our Family,  Mrs. Lile Pulido, Lisandro Guerra and Maria Balderas,  and I he is in our heart and minds. God keep him Safe.

Mrs. Valdez and Family.  I am saddened to read about Ros' s passing away.  His Mom and Dad and Rosbel with other family members were cotton pickers with my family. Gonzalo and Porfiria Pila Guerra.  I have two pictures from years ago that wanted to return. His Dad and ROS AND OTHER FAMILY members are a part of my heart and memories May he rest in Peace.  My number is 956-207-2556.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting you, I have heard many stories about the "adventures" you shared with your children as told to me by your wonderful son, Lee.  Lee was the caregiver for my husband Jack and continues to work for me almost 3 years after Jack's death.  It would take a great man to raise such a caring son as Lee.  Rest comfortably in heaven above and say hello to Jack for me.  Love to all the Valdez family.

I have known Ross, your loving husband and dad for 50 years. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Ross as a plumbers helper. Ross was one of the smartest plumbers I ever had the opportunity to work with. He taught me how to caulk a cast iron joint, locate sewer lines with with coat hangers and many other tricks of the trade. I just enjoyed his infectious laughter and sense of humor and always positive attitude.I enjoyed shooting doves at the ranch with him and sharing his tacos and chili p equines at lunch, they were better than my peanut butter sandwich. I enjoyed listening to him stretch the truth about his last golf game and so much more. I will miss him, because he was truly a dear friend and someone I really respected and admired because of who he was and what he stood for, love of family, faith, integrity and the love of the out doors.
God bless you all and remember all the good times you shared.

We didn't know you, but we do know that you raised a wonderful son in Rick and had an awesome daughter-in-law in Sylvia. We are neighbors of theirs. We would like to give our deepest condolences to your family.

I am saddened by the loss of your husband/dad or perhaps I should include myself and say my "2nd dad."  I remember meeting him for the first time when I was 9 years old spending most of my weekends and Summers at the "Valdez's" with my best friend Grace.  I can still hear him now, saying to me early Saturday morning "CAROL are you still here"? GO HOME!!! But then smiling right afterwards. I knew then it was his way of saying he really liked me :) He always included me in all of the family vacations. I remember mostly Chalk Bluff, swimming, and camping.  What fun we had.  He was an awesome man with so much energy.  He will surely be missed by this "step-daughter" of 49 years.  Im sure with prayers and the passing of time will leave us with nothing but happy memories. Ohhhh Grandpa! This is very hard for me to put together... You were such an amazing man! We as grandchildren have so many fun amazing memories with you, that can never be taken away! :) From letting us get on your shoulders as a child, swimming in the cow troph & living with you were the best years! Always going to mc donalds lol and the midnight walmart trips! I loved going to the ranch during the winter to burn cactus with you, feed the cows, get chased by hogs, chopping off rattle snakes heads lol oh goodness! What fun! Falling asleep under the stars on top of the big hay bays, laying with the cows lol & don't forget going to the chicken coop to get the eggs & of course banging the pan so we can feed the catfish ¢½...i always looked forward  to go to the ranch because i knew that it was where your passion was papo...we love you soooo much & will miss you more then ever... to the moon  we will all forever be singing "you are my sunshine" & be unified as a family, do everything with love, have faith & happiness as a child just like you! Can't wait to see you in the future, i can already see you in heaven playing your accordion and dancing away!

There are no words to describe our heartache since losing you Pop... our only consolation is knowing that you are at peace now and running around the big Rancho in the sky. I miss you so much and I will always have a hole in my heart... until we meet again just know that we will take care of mom and remember everything you taught us in this life. You're my hero. You're my guiding light through all my tough times. You were the man who taught us to laugh as much as possible in this crazy world... I miss you so much Pop. Sylvia and I and the kids your grandchildren Siobhan, Rick JR and Samuel are so grateful for the way of life that you taught us,... we will always be joyful and kind to each other as well as wishing the best for others ... and we will always be grateful for the simple things our mother earth gives us everyday... I will forever be thankful to you for introducing me to the plumbing trade and as you were my roll model I now have the ability to provide for my family and to do God's work too... Grandpa I am going miss you, to the moon and back. I will always try to say I am pretty good fine and tell everyone that I am your number one.

When I was a little girl you were my hero whom I praised & saw as the strongest, smartest and bravest man I would ever meet but secretly at night I cried and prayed to Jesus to bring you back to us from whatever adventure you'd go off to always knowing my turn was soon. Whether it was playing in the bunker you made for us or an impromptu RV trip to the lake or river or simply surprising us with an ice cold watermelon on a hot summer night even your final 24 hrs...Dad life with you was always an adventure.  I'm already missing you.

For all the long walks on the ranch as you taught me so much, the many trips to McDonald's in the middle of the night for ice cream, the numerous trips from California to Texas, the hot and sticky summers as a guest in your home (which made for an awesome childhood) I will always thank God for you.  Love you tio
