Rosalyn Cookie Sandoval Sandoz

Rosalyn was born in San Antonio, TX, to Willie and Margaret Sandoval on April 19th, 1958.

On June 4th, 1988, Rosalyn married Rudolph Sandoz, where they went on and cherished 35 years of marriage.

Rosalyn graduated from Our Lady Of The Lake University in 1986, with a Masters of Science in Education. She worked as an educator for the San Antonio Independent School District for 30 years upon retirement.

Rosalyn was a born again Christian and attended Alamo City Christian Fellowship. She devoted her time to Acts of service and volunteer work to her family, local church and elementary school.

Rosalyn was preceded in death by her Mother and Father Margaret and Willie Sandoval. She is survived by her Husband Rudolph Sandoz and her two brothers: Will and Michael Sandoval

It is our honor to celebrate the life and beautiful soul of Cookie. She lived a life of joy, walked in light, and shared God's love. Her life will forevermore continue to glorify God. Her legacy of love, perseverance, and unfailing faith will continue to shine bright and light the way for her family, their children and their children's children for generations to come.

A visitation for Cookie will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218, followed by a religious ceremony from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
