Rosa G. Mendoza

Rosa G. Mendoza born on April 16, 1931 in Von Ormy, TX went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2013 at the age of 82. Our mother had a strong catholic belief and would frequently travel to the Basilica of San Juan De Los Lagos. She loved cooking for her family and cherished the precious moments spent with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip M. Mendoza; parents, Simona and Manuel Garza; sons; Joe E. Garcia, Armando Garza, and Ignacio Bermudez. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Rosemary and Nicholas Arellano, Josie and Mario Fonseca, and Frances Garcia; son, Frank Bermudez; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Janie Flores and Esther Torres; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday September 11, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples and will continue from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday September 12, 2013 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday September 13, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
