Rosa Garcia Hinojosa

Rosa Garcia Hinojosa, born on May 17, 1928 went to be with our Lord on January 22, 2020. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daguberto F. Hinojosa; son, Hector Ross Hinojosa; daughter, Ruby Martinez and parents, Crisencio and Epefania Garcia. Rosa is survived by her children, Ivan C. Hinojosa (Angelina), Doris Martinez (Sabas, Jr.), Lillian Ramos (Richard), Bobby Ross Hinojosa (Iryna), Bertha J. Rodriguez (Albert, Jr.) and son in- law, Mario S. Martinez; 26 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Rachel Lopez and Patty Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews. Rosa will be remembered for her generous heart and open door policy. She made sure her door was always open to family and friends. A welcoming soul who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, dancing, gambling and doing house projects. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday February 5, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home on 226 Cupples Rd. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday February 6, 2020 at 11:15 a.m. for a 12:30 p.m. Mass at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Lacoste Tx. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
