Roland Schneider

Roland was an exceptional person, known for intelligence, quick wit, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He was born on March 24, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI, where he grew up and eventually met the love of his life, Janet. The couple married in 1954, and for 68 years, they were inseparable and showed us all what true love really means.

Throughout his life, Roland made a significant impact on the lives of those around him. He constantly strove for excellence and pushed those around him to do the same. He was a lifelong learner, always seeking to expand his knowledge and understanding of the world around him.

Above all else, Roland was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished his family above all else and instilled in them the values of generosity, kindness, and integrity. His devotion to his family will never be forgotten, and he will forever be remembered as a pillar of strength and a shining example of what it means to live a life full of purpose.

Roland will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will continue to live on in the lives he touched. Rest in peace, Rollie. You will always be remembered and forever loved.

A funeral service will occur Monday, May 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A graveside service will occur Monday, May 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hill Country Memorial Gardens, 11700 TX-46, New Braunfels, TX 78132.
