Rodolfo Hernandez

In loving memory of Rodolfo Hernandez, born in Detroit, Michigan living in San Antonio who passed away on July 2, 2017 at the age of 92. Rodolfo (Rudy) is survived by his wife Gloria, son Rudy (Danette), daughters Patty and Cindy. Grandchildren Luke and Madeline, Ruben, Megan. Sister Alma and two brothers Gilbert and Robert, and a host of nieces and nephews. Rodolfo served in the United States Army in World War II. Later Rodolfo also served in the United States Air Force in the Korean War. In recent years Rodolfo was selected and participated in the Honor Flight program. The Honor Flight Mission is to transport American Veterans to Washington DC to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and their friends. Rodolfo was also actively involved in the St Luke’s Catholic Church Men’s Club as a Life Time Member. A rosary and memorial service will be held on Monday July 24,2017 at 9:30am at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, located at 6231 Bandera Road San Antonio, TX. 78238, followed by a burial ceremony at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
