Robert V. Moreno

Tec 5 Robert V. Moreno, U. S. Army, age 100, passed away Jun 8, 2021 in San Antonio,TX. He was a W.W. II Veteran and served in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign and the Philippine Liberation Campaign. He received 2 bronze Stars and was an aircraft electrician at Kelly AFB for 30 years. He is preceded in death by parents, Casiano and Antonia Moreno; two sisters and six brothers. He is survived by his wife of 77 years, Annie Moreno; children Sylvia Ramos, Dolores Yruegas, Roxanne Gonzalez and Robert Moreno Jr.; grandchildren, Eric Ramos, Jema Herrera, Yvonne Martinez, Sunshine Goodman, Amanda Yruegas, Moses Gonzalez, Diana Moreno and Jeanna Moreno; also, 8 great grandchildren. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower St., San Antonio, TX 78201. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
