Robert Delgado

Robert Delgado, age 78, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Robert was born September 7, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Joseph and Luz Delgado. Robert was known as a loving father, grandfather, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be celebrated for the joyous life he lived!

Robert lived his life to the fullest surrounded by people who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Delgado, his son Kevin Delgado, his brother George Delgado, and his parents Joseph and Luz Delgado. Robert is survived by his daughter Shelley Delgado, his granddaughter Cassandra Brewer, his brothers Joseph and Oscar Delgado, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

A Rosary will take place at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Moore, Texas at 7:00 PM Thursday, February 10, 2022. Robert’s memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday February 11, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life fueled by his love of country music, rodeos, and dancehall ambiance will follow at the Blue Bonnet Palace at 17630 Lookout Rd.

In lieu of flowers, Robert’s family is asking for donations to be made in Robert’s memory to support and honor his battle of cardiovascular disease to The American Heart Association.
