Robert was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Jacqueline Jones Coalson and Robert Ellis Coalson. Robert found solace in the outdoors. He loved camping and watching the sun set and rise. He was smart and selfless. A perfect day would be a long motorcycle ride to the beach to watch the sunset while eating corn nuts and drinking a milkshake. His life was not an easy life. His mental illness made everyday a struggle, and yet, he was understanding and compassionate toward everyone.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ellis Coalson.
He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline; sisters, Danon Hassall (Don), Diane Coalson (David); nieces, Hannah Dobbs (Justin), Kaitlin Hassall (Derek), and Olivia Garza (Anthony); his great-nephews Atticus, Azriah (who loved his uncle "Yobby"), and Azriel Garza.
Our family would like to thank the Honorable Michael Mery who made restoration a possibility. Our family will be forever grateful.
