Richard Andrew Jones, of New Braunfels, passed away on July 5, 2010 at the age of 44. He was born April 11, 1966 in Houston, Texas to Albert F. and Ruth Carolyn Jones. Richard graduated from Roosevelt High School and was currently an MCSC Systems Engineer with Baptist Health Systems. He was an auto enthusiast and loved to go kayaking and camping. Richard was also an avid photographer. He was a beautiful person with a loving heart. Thank you Richard for gracing us with your presence and profound blessings and thank you God for blessing us with Richard. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Albert Fisher Jones, Jr. and grandfather, Albert Fisher Jones, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Jones; grandmother, Mary L. Jones; brothers and sisters, Jim Lynn Jones, Laura Michelle Jones Schwuss, Christie Sparks, Tracey Sparks and Tod Beaubien; his loving companion, L.A. Thompson and her children, David Villanueva and Nikole Thompson and his beloved dogs, Soapy and Shiner. A Memorial Service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 2PM at Sunset Funeral Home.
