Richard G. Hernandez, Jr., born on March 25, 1947 to Ricardo and Petra Hernandez, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Father-In-Law, Brother, Uncle, Godfather and Friend was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. He will be forever loved and remembered by his family; wife, Catherine S Hernandez; daughters, Sandra Hernandez-Perales, Elizabeth Hernandez-Zepeda and Laura Hernandez-Torres; granddaughters, Britney Ariel Perales, Breanna Stone Benavides and Catarina Torres; grandsons, Rudolfo Stone Benavides, III., Joe Anthony Pulido, Carlos Ricardo Pulido and Eloy Alix Torres; his brothers, Henrique, Lorenzo, Alex and sisters Elisa, Josie, Gloria, Armandina, Helen and Dora, extended family, in-laws and friends. A kind, giving, hard-working man who retired from H-E-B after 26 years of service and known as “Elvis” will be missed by so many. On Monday, May 15h, visitation begins at 6:00 p.m. and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. with Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd 78224. Tuesday, May 16th mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church and procession to Mission Park Funeral Chapels and Cemeteries, 1700 SE Military Dr. 78214.
