Ric devoted his life to God, family, friends, and neighbors. He served in the Army 2nd armored division and later worked in construction management. He was a very gifted artist and designer, and one of his greatest assets was that he could do or fix anything he set his mind to. Ric was a humble and compassionate man and was always willing to help someone in need. He inspired everyone around him to be a better person and to treat others with kindness and love. In his free time he enjoyed working in the yard, listening to Jazz, drinking coffee, and watching movies.
Our hearts are broken with his loss and he will be dearly missed but we gain comfort in knowing he rests peacefully with the Lord he loved so dearly. A service will be held on Monday August 3 at Church of the Blessed Sacrament at 11:30 followed by a private burial at Fort Sam Houston at 2:15. Both will be simulcast via Zoom and Facebook Live.
