Reymunda A Flores

Reymunda Aldana Flores, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the age of 96. She was born on January 19, 1926, in Poteet, Texas to Liduvina and Simon Aldana. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rogerio O. Flores, daughter Gloria Tellez, son Raul Flores, her parents, brothers and sisters.

Reymunda is survived by daughter Tina Sandoval, daughter-in-law Rose Marie Flores, son-in-law Rogelio Tellez, grandchildren Gabriella Flores, Raul (Lynn) Flores Jr., Roger Tellez Jr., Michael Sandoval, Anthony Flores and Richard (Jayne Nicole) Flores, great-grandchildren Brianna (Martin) Flores, Michelle Sandoval, Roger Lara Tellez III, Rene Lara Tellez, Raeann Lara Tellez, Anthony Flores Jr., Brian Isaac Flores, Tiffani Amber Flores, Marissa Victoria Flores, Joshua Noel Flores, Nadia Janelle Flores, Eliana Jade Flores, great-great-granddaughters Adalyn Charli Flores, Everleigh Jade Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Until recent years, Reymunda enjoyed tending to her garden, rosebushes and crape myrtles. She also had a love for sewing, word-find puzzles and sharing stories of her youth.

The family would like to extend their special gratitude to her sister-in-law, Angelita Guzman, who was her caretaker and companion during the last several months.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Funeraria del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. from 5:00-9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph South San Catholic Church, 535 New Laredo Hwy, with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 State Highway 16 South.
