Ray was so knowledgeable about so many things, yet spoke with such a sincere humility. It felt like I could bring up any topic and he would deliver insights in bunches.  In particular, faith in a loving God is my foremost memory of him.  Wishing love to Debbie and all those who love Ray in honor of a life well lived.

Ray and Debbie have been my extended family here in Prattville for 23 years. Ray has been like the big brother I didn't have. He was the wisest kindest man I have ever met. The little  group we have out here will be  lonesome without Ray's presence. I know that he is in God's hands now.

Here, as Best Man at my brother Bob's wedding, he is putting the finishing touches on Bob's tie! The photo captures Ray's warmth and humor as he helps to ease any pre-wedding nerves. Ray was a born storyteller, funny and wise, as he recounted human interest stories from the honorable  military career he so enjoyed. Ray was a loyal, loving and compassionate friend. He lived his life with great courage and grace. He will be remembered with great love.

A wonderful, oldest brother, an honest man, and a true man of faith. From your youngest sister, Ray, I am my family. Will miss you always.
