Raul M. Sanchez

Raul M. Sanchez born on July 2, 1935 went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2013 at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his sons, Alberto Y. Sanchez and Baby Raul Sanchez. He was an active member and usher of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was an avid musician and won many awards in the Conjunto music arena. He is survived by his former spouse, Ernestina V. Sanchez; children; Rosalinda S. Gomez (Gabriel), Raul V. Sanchez (Rebecca Gomez), Margie S. Kiev (Kim), Raul Y. Sanchez (Catherine), Roberto Y. Sanchez (Janie), Ricardo Y. Sanchez (Elena), Rachel Sanchez, Diana Castaneda, Connie Langston, Raul M. Sanchez, Albert Sanchez, and Christopher Sanchez; companion, Mary Ann Vega; 30 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; also, brothers, Manuel Sanchez and Mario Sanchez; sister, Lydia Alvarado. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday July 13, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. and will continue Sunday July 14, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Rosary will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday July 14, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 314 Merida St. San Antonio TX 78207. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Monday July 15, 2013 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
