Raquel Zamora

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raquel “Rachel” Zamora, who left this world on March 19th 2025 at the age of 45. A vibrant and joyful soul, she brought light and laughter to everyone who knew her.

Rachel had a deep love for life’s celebrations. Whether it was a birthday, holiday, or just an ordinary day made special, she found joy in bringing people together. Her home was always decorated for every season, filled with warmth and festive spirit. A lover of experiences, she found happiness in shopping for the perfect find, watching true crime documentaries, attending concerts and traveling. A true foodie, she also enjoyed weekend adventures trying new restaurants. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in our hearts.

Rachel is preceded in death by her mother Martha Alicia Zamora and survived by husband Ramiro Ramirez, daughters Caitlyn (Andres), Destini (Damian), Zoe and Alexis Ramirez, father Jose A. Zamora, brothers Tony (Josie), Juan (Analisa), and Manuel Zamora, granddaughter Ava Sophia Ramirez and numerous friends, relatives and loved ones.

A service to honor and celebrate Rachel’s life will be held on March 29, 2025 from 3pm-6pm at Funeraria Del Angel, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. followed by a prayer service at 6pm. Services will conclude at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you cherish every moment, dance to your favorite song, and celebrate life.
