Ramiro A. Saenz Sr., age 88, passed away May 27, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Fidela Saenz, 6 brothers and 7 sisters. Ramiro is survived by his wife of 36 years, Olivia C. Saenz; children, Ramiro Saenz Jr. and wife Ada, Diana Castello and husband Jim, Chris Jaramillo, Shirley Jaramillo and partner Norma, Deborah Arismendez and husband Lupe; 8 grandchildren and 2 brothers, Juan Erasmo Saenz and Arnoldo Saenz; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera road on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, June 1, 2012 for a 10:00 A.M. mass at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church with interment to follow at Resurrection cemetery at Cordi-Marian.
