Mr. Phillip Ambrose Skees age 83 born March 27, 1935 in Sonora, Kentucky passed away on January 11, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Sylvester & Etta M. Skees, wife Susie Skees, second wife Evangeline Skees, Mr. Skees is survived by his children, Donald Skees, Ronnie Skees, Carol Sue (Jose) Solis, Paul (Eva) Skees, Patrick Skees, Sylvia, Skees, Cynthia Stanley, Abel (Deborah) Menchaca, Verna (Alex) Hernandez, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, sister Rose Hornback, Brothers Robert Skees, Leroy Skees, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with at rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church located at 13466 IH 35 South in Von Ormy, Texas. 78073. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 8:30 am at the church with a 10:00 am Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (210) 622-3457. Interment to follow in Ruiz Herrera Cemetery.
