Paulita is survived by her children, Maria Jesusita De Leon Serna, Paula Eva De Leon Hizon (Manuel), Juan Jose Gumesindo De Leon; Grandchildren, Sylvina Serna, Arturo Serna Jr., Shiela Serna Smith (Douglas Smith), Marissa Marie Finnerty (Timothy Finnerty), Adelita Lee Maynay Hizon, Akiko Marie Hizon, Rosalina Kimiko Hizon, Paula Satchiko Hizon (Kevin Ha), Trevor De Leon, and Katrina De Leon; great-grandchildren, Adonijah Benjahmin Hizon Garcia, Ariel Alexander Hizon Garcia, Autumn Sutton, Lillian Nicole Sutton, Ariella Serna, Bentley Smith, Landon Finnerty, Olivia Finnerty, Tucker Finnerty and Delilah Emerald De Leon.

Paulita enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to the Gaithers, and shopping. Her love was for the Lord, family, and country. She retired from Baptist Hospital after 22 years. She will truly be missed by family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday October 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home on 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, TX 78237 with the Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Saturday October 19, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Templo Bethel Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
