Paul M. Ybarra

Paul Mario Ybarra went to be with our Lord on January 13, 2020. Paul is preceded in death by his father: Eddie B. Ybarra; and siblings: Rachel Gutierrez & Ralph Ybarra. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of forty-nine years Rosa Ybarra; children: Teresa Morgan (Steven) and Mario Anthony Ybarra (Evette); grandchildren: Dylan, Devin, Daniel, Logan, Kyle, Nicholas, Jalyn, and Benjamin; siblings: Eddie B. Ybarra Jr., Rita Evelyn Cardenas, Mary Garza, Beatrice Herrera and Richard Ybarra; mother: Catalina Ybarra, as well numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. In his free time, Paul loved to golf, was an avid bowler in numerous leagues, and loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren. Paul retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant after 22 1/2 years before working and retiring after another 22 years at USAA. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at 9:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery promptly at 11:15 a.m.
