Olga Aurora Jasso

Olga was born to Eduviges (Eddie) and Margarita (Benavides) Taboada as Olga Aurora Taboada, on August 23, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas. She attended high school at San Antonio Vocational and Technical High School (now known as Fox Tech High School). Shortly after high school, Olga married Richard Jasso on December 31, 1961. She received certification for cosmetology and worked off and on giving manicures. She also provided care for elderly clients as a caregiver/sitter. She met wonderful families and improved the quality of life for so many. Olga lived for family. She loved to laugh and loved to have others laugh with her.

She had 2 siblings (Delores and Oscar who are deceased). Olga is survived by four children – son Ricardo Jr. (Rick) and wife Liz, son Edmund and wife Sara, daughter Margaret and husband David, and son Steven. She had twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Olga’s life will be celebrated at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas on January 11th, 2024. Guests will be welcomed for a Rosary and Vigil to begin at 2:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life (Service) from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Light refreshments will follow from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
