It’s so hard to believe that you are no longer here with us, to share your laughter, your wisdom, and your love. It was so good to work with you on our High  School reunion and spend time catching up on life. You always had answers to for anything I asked. You will be missed my friend.  Bracken ridge Class of 1976 will truly truly miss you. I know for a fact I do. We just texted each other a in August to see how we were doing in this pandemic. Take your rest my friend. 
To The Louis Family…May the Lord our God give each of the family members the strength they need to go through this. May he comfort you all. Praying for you. God bless you!

Dear Lord,
I pray for my friend right now. I pray that you will help them with the struggles they are going through. For you know exactly what they need in this moment. Draw near to them and let them feel your presence. Open their eyes, ears, and hearts to you. Help them have the discernment to hear your voice as you lead them in their next steps. Speak to them as they read your word and bring verses of encouragement and comfort to their attention. I pray that you will calm any fear or anxiety they may be feeling. Replace it with the confidence to obey your word and to trust you. I pray that your guidance will be clear to them from this day forward. In your name, I pray. Amen.

Nick, my "Little Doctor" RN, I  will NEVER forget you. I loved you as  a gentle man,  faithful friend,  powerful colleague,  fabulous nurse and outstanding father. The care you gave to all your patients but particularly  Barry made you the most  coveted emIployee.  I loved your sense of humor,  work ethic and your willingness to share your knowledge. You were UNIQUE.  Sorry you had to suffer. You didn't deserve it.  Hope you're dancing with Jesus!

I worked with Nick at Christus Santa Rosa NW
When he was an Anesthesia Tech…he trained me when I took on that position.  Back then he was always talking about his son Robert and then daughter Hannah when she was born.  Nick always greeted you with a big smile.  When 11a.m  rolled around he would always say “lunch at 11” and Nick was gone. When I finally departed Santa Rosa Nick was in his roll as RN. I still remember seeing his s10 Chevy  Blazer  it was spotless.  Take comfort in knowing that Nick is home he stayed the course and finished the race…farewell friend see ya on the other side 

To our dear friend Cindy, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  May the wonderful memories of your brother Nick bring you peace and comfort and know that he will be with you always.  Our family is keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Nick left me many memories to remember, laugh about and be grateful for his life.  He was known to most as Nick.  His given name was Nicholas, named after our mother's grandfather.  His middle name was James, named after our father's brother.  I will miss Nick, but am thankful that he is no longer suffering.  We know he loved God, his family and his job.  Rest in the Arms of Christ, my brother.  I love you.

  Thank you for being an awesome brother!  We had fun times, growing up, running races along with the neighborhood friends, and you always left us behind. When we would hang out with our cousins and go jump fences to get to Playland Park/ running around at Brackenridge park. Our Love for our Dallas Cowboys. Camping out at Brackenridge park to save a table for Easter, brother our memories will forever be in my heart! Love and miss you!! ❤️

 I just want to thank you for your guidance, your love, your support and for putting up with me. I enjoyed the fun times that we had together…. whether it was going to a Cowboys game, on a cruise, or our weekly dinner dates all of those are memories that I will always carry in my heart!!!! My dear Nick, 
I will always carry you in my heart! Although it breaks my heart to say goodbye just know that I will carry you in my heart always.  

I am beyond saddened to learn of the passing of such an extraordinary man. We were former high school classmates and worked together on our reunion committee for 2016. It was so great to spend time with him and our other alumni  during that time. No one ever knew that was the last time we would laugh and celebrate together. 
 
 We both chose nursing as our careers. I remember sharing crazy experiences from our jobs.  It is a challenging profession that takes a good sense of humor  to deal with sometimes. It was easy to see how committed he was to his work and patients. I'm sure his unit will not be the same without him. They were blessed to have him on their team.

For the family and all who loved him, I pray for peace, comfort and strength. May you hold tight to the good memories you shared together.

Rest in paradise my friend until it is time for us to meet again.

My deepest sincerest condolences to all of Nick’s family. Met Nick at Christus Medical Center, the little that I knew him I could tell he was a beautiful person, but the many stories I hear about him I know most definitely that he was an AWESOME AMAZING human being!! Rest in Heavenly peace brother.

I will always remember the wonderful and fond memories of Family gatherings, Pay-per-View boxing events, range-time and just talking Brother-In-Law.  I really enjoyed our last Thanksgiving together and when I spoke to you last; you were glowing with happiness and we must have talked  and laughed for twenty minutes or more.  

You were a TRUE ACTS BROTHER to me Nick...that I will always remember and keep in my heart. Yes, you were a pragmatic realist, but you were GENUINE; a vanishing virtue these days. 

I'll never forget your PEACE, LOVE, JOY and HAPPINESS you exuded when returning from your ACTS Retreat Brother-In-Law. That peaceful expression, gentle smile on your face and nodding [yes] as you exited the Church-is an indelible memory I'll never forget. You learned the secret Nick. 

I wish we could have shared one more Thanksgiving, one more Pay-Per-View event and more individualized range time...and me retelling the story about how your Brother Nuno, was a Marine Raider. You absolutely loved that story Nick.

I will miss you dearly Brother-In-Law.

Thank you for the many fond memories we shared growing up. You really took care and loved your sisters. 

Your time here on earth has been fulfilled, and it was time for you to be with our Lord, our Parents and Brother.

I worked with Nick for several years at Christus Med Center in the OR. He was an amazing nurse and an awesome guy to work with. He helped lend some much needed sanity and humor to a crazy stressful environment. I was never upset about being on call with him because I knew everything was going to ok. My heart goes out to his family. He will always be missed. 

I worked with Nick in Perioperative services at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center for a number of years. Nick was an intelligent, no nonsense nurse whose strong work ethic I greatly admired. He was always willing to help me whenever I asked. He will be missed and impossible to replace. My prayers are with his family.

My Deepest Condolences to the family for your loss. The lord needed an  Angel in heaven so he received his wings for our Jesus Christ. He was an Angel to all he toke care of at work. He was a very pleasant person to talk to always helping others first. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and having fun. I am so glad we meant in high school. I will always remember his birthday because I as well share the same date and he knew that. You will be missed my friend but never forgotten. We shall see you once again when it's time.
