Myong Sook Young

Myong Sook (Cho) Young 92, grew angel wings Monday March 20, 2023. She flew to heaven to be reunited with her husband, Lealon E. Young. Born in Korea in 1930, she came to the United States to start a new life with her husband and her first born child in 1955. In her lifetime she became the loving mother to four children: Sandra K. Teuton, Curtis G. Young, Diana G. Pishkar and Keith L. Young. She was the grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 4. She also welcomed into her heart several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Our mother had a loving heart and welcomed all who entered her life.

Professionally, Myong was a pioneer in the early days of computer programming retiring early to simply enjoy life. She was a master duplicate bridge player and avid square dancer. She loved to line dance, Zumba, and make floral arrangements. In the evenings, she loved to play cards and board games, and engage people in conversation. Myong was a kind soul with a big heart. She laughed and smiled easily. She gave generously and forgave quickly. She was a firecracker in a small package. Myong was a unique spirit who was beloved by all who knew her. She wants everyone to know she led a long and blessed life (for which she is truly grateful) with a big family and many friends. She traveled to many places, enjoyed all the comforts in life and has no regrets. A life well lived. Rest in peace our beloved angel.
