Mike R. Villarreal Jr.

Mike R. Villarreal Jr., age 74, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Mike was born April 26, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Miguel and Jesusa Villarreal. He attended Fox Tech High School and went on to be an independent contractor. Mike enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool, and going Swing Time dancing in his spare time.

Mike is preceded in death by both of his parents; his brother, Hector Villarreal; and his daughter, Angelina R. He is survived by his 5 children, Mike Andy Villarreal, Jennifer Pequeño (Pete), Donna Pequeño, Denise Escobar (Marcos), and Roland Pequeño; his 3 siblings, Rachel Luna, Albert Villarreal, and Alice Villarreal; his 7 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Noah, Nick, Novelie, Pito, Kaitlin, and Kaylee; and his great grandson Prince Villarreal; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Mike will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 for a funeral mass at 9:00 AM at St. John The Evangelist, 4603 St. John's Way, San Antonio, Texas 78212. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
